a Saturday morning
God most certainly created a beautiful day today. This morning, as I look outside, I see trees hushed in brilliant silence while only a quiet wind slips through the leaves. The sound of neighbors cutting grass is soothing, as well as the few birdies we hear talking to each other. Their songs speak of creature joy! And the sun....the sun has decided to grace us with some lovely rays. Maybe not so much warmth as a July Saturday, but the light it brings warms the soul and eyes. Now, only if our hearts can continue with such beauty! Blessings!

something simple and pretty
is all I wish to post today. it's been a tough few weeks, with a cough that i can't get rid of and a hairline fracture (rib) from that coughing. praying that there's some light at the end of the tunnel. my sweetie has been off all week so that was great timing to have his help. i am continuously struggling with feeling inferior and not successful...not a good combination when you are limited with what you can do anyways right now. so i thought posting this little thing i drew a week or so back would be uplifting.
