today, the new design team of More Paper Than Shoes was announced the official blog and facebook page...and I am so delighted to say that I am one of the new DT members! this is the first time to be a part of something like this, and to be a design team contributor- it is in fact a dream come true for me. i am honored to be among these talented, creative ladies, 16 to be exact. there will be giveaways and challenges- so please come visit us often! in fact, a giveaway is posted on the blog right now! oh- and there is also a forum that is already becoming a great place of new friendships, inspiration, and more! please come join us!
here is my contribution to this months challenge:
i used a kit from Studio Calico, and also a bit of vintage lace from my supply and had a bit of fun with my sewing machines and the amazing decorative stitches it offers. the nest stamp is Studio Calico as well. but I have to admit that I was having soooo much fun that I made a few more tags (the requirements are: use a stamp, have a "popped out" image)...here is one other one...
the base of this tag is a white scalloped coaster i picked up somewhere! LOL! almost everything is vintage- the fabric, dress patrern paper, ric rac, buttons...the stamp is from Tim Holtz and i also used a bit of Washi tape/ deco tape (i forget the company at the moment). this was a hard one to "finish" and at the very end i added those "tails" of ric rac and it seemed to complete the project. i love the Parisan feel of this one! but i loved the nostalgic nature elements of the first too. i must say- Anna and Kindra, you came up with a great first challenge! i could do this one every day!
i'm working on some photos i took for a friend, and her baby boy....trying to post on my blog....and play a Scrabble game on Facebook. multitasking is a lot of work! i think i've gotten lots of practice being a stay at home mom of three...heehee!
blessings!
