there are many things about being a mom that is utterly delightful. i'm starting my post out with this because the day was good, eventful, and full but we all get a little short with one another and i am just truly exhasuted at the moment, have been most of the day. so, in order to give the day more pleasantries, here's a short list of things to savor about motherhood, by me....
sandy feet to wash
hearing "i love you, mommy" several times over
cooking something people like to eat!
having company
watching them perform a task and succeed
teaching a child to say a new word
seeing children be nice to one another, as siblings
the wonder in their eyes at imagining
their willingness to learn about God
playful banter between us
HUGS and KISSES
and sharing tasty desserts of summer ;-)
