this is real.
this is home.
these are two shelves
which hold
love
remembrances of love
Rich and I's wedding
first kiss as man and wife
kneeling to prepare our hearts together for God
and then, jumping ahead
a little preschool riding girl
in a polka dotted dress
one of my favorites on her ever
a figurine
of a woman holding a little boy
and now i have TWO little boys
a sparkling "love" banner
showing God's answer of prayer for creativity
a birdie- precious everyday life
God CARES
empty glass bottles
i wonder what we'll fill those up with in the next years
a beloved writing feather pen
accessory to record those moments
the ones that count
and the ones we think don't count
these are shelves
that may chip if not put up in time
they get dusty
their paint cracks
a bottle could get knocked down and broken
or glass from a frame
they may not be looked at everyday
and that's okay
God will be there
and that is enough
for this
for me
Blessings...

What beloved words to go with the picture of a meaningful wall...but more than a wall: a life of love and secure memories.

This is a truly beautiful post. Befitting of a scrapbook page, perhaps?
