dreaming

of summer days.

or at least spring

or at least a few days of sunshine for this photographer to get snapping.

tomorrow, my goal is to take pictures.

haven't done that for awhile....Etsy and homeschooling, and being a mom has taken priority.

however, since photography IS one of my priorities, i shall make more of an effort to create timeless images.

my heart is glad.

here is a dreamy Ella-girl photograph from months ago....

it has a very retro or vintage feel.

i love that.

makes my heart happy.

my soul joyful.

how AWESOME is God that He lets us be happy with things like this?

small joys...even amidst heartache...ring true joy no matter what.

Findings there is a store nearby that i have always gone to, from when i was a child til now. i remember going as a little girl to the basement of the shop where who knows what you would find. we've come full circle as now i take MY children down to the basement. my little girl timidly creeps down the stairs while my four year old boy practically marches down the stair..no fear must be his motto. cracked. me. up. anyways, new and old things are in abundance. estate sale finds, mostly i think. recently i found vintage doll clothes...

after Lisa and I were going to wait to change over our products in our Etsy shop right after Valentine's Day, but we decided, that, after all, we cannot wait. Here is a little preview of what I will be putting in the shop this weekend... linen dress form designed and stitched by me...only in the vintage box for the support of standing up. ;) i just adore dress forms. i hope someday i can have a REAL one for my home, so i can decorate it or be inspired with it..someday. creating these flowers was so much fun! i used...
