Every so often, I get inspired so much I can't stand it- and I believe we all feel that way sometimes. Recently was one of those times. I continue to believe that God has orchestrated some things recently that includes giving me ways and determination to create.
Here is a project my sister in law and I did that was completed yesterday.
I had a seed of thought...it started with a stamp from Cat'sLife Press. By the way, I love so many of their stamps! Lisa had used it to do some stamping on fabric. She gave me a piece, along with burlap we planned on using. Well, I thought of making a clock face using the burlap, with my vintage cream and white buttons, and this vintage clock hand that came from a family member. Also, I have begun needle felting, which I absolutely love, and had made a needle felted heart with teeny tiny vintage beads from my stash. Getting the burlap to work for me was slightly difficult but well worth the fight. I knew that my sewing skills could not give the pillow a professional look, so I asked (well, really FORCED her to! LOL) finish the job! Omigoodness...why did I think I wanted to sell this? I am so happy when I look at it. It's on my piano right now, beside a embellished pen and spool Lisa also made. The good news is, we have more of all materials to make those except that certain style clock hand. She used a feather for the other hand- it looks so sweet that way!

Very, very, very cool! I love it!
