sometimes life is just about capturing your moments.
capturing a laugh.
a special thought.
a sweet little smile.
that breath of fresh air.
a hug.
a kiss.
a little boy playing with his new rocket that mommy made for him!
this little toy took some determination to finish...it had several parts- the flame, the base, the legs, the body....some handstitching involved, some freestyle sewing, too..haha....i did use a pattern. it is not my original design, rather, it is from One Yard Wonders, a delightfully informative book that I love and plan on using all of 2010. More on that another day!
